Tagamer is a community platform created by players, for players. This policy describes how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you use our services, in accordance with the General Data Protection Law (Law nº 13.709/2018 — LGPD), the Consumer Protection Code (Law nº 8.078/1990) and the Internet Civil Rights Framework (Law nº 12.965/2014). By using Tagamer, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We may collect the following types of data:

• Account data: Discord username and, optionally, email address for authentication and account recovery.
• Usage data: Basic information about how you interact with the platform and available worlds (visited pages, session time) to improve the experience.
• Cookies: Essential cookies for the platform to work and optional analytical cookies to understand traffic.

3. Purpose and Legal Bases for Processing

Your data is used to:

• Provide and maintain your account on the platform — legal basis: contract performance (Art. 7, I, LGPD);
• Authenticate you via Discord OAuth — legal basis: consent (Art. 7, I, LGPD) and legitimate interest (Art. 7, IX, LGPD);
• Communicate relevant community updates — legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 7, IX, LGPD);
• Improve our services based on aggregated usage analytics — legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 7, IX, LGPD).

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data to third parties. Your data may only be shared in the following cases:

• Discord: For authentication (OAuth) purposes, as described in Discord's policy.
• Service providers: Partners that help us run the platform (hosting, analytics), subject to confidentiality agreements and data processing in compliance with the LGPD.

7. Security

We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, in accordance with Art. 46 of the LGPD. However, no internet transmission method is 100% secure.

Tagamer's Data Officer can be contacted through our Discord server for matters related to the processing of your personal data, exercising rights or complaints about privacy practices.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this privacy policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated through the platform or our Discord. We recommend reviewing this page regularly. The last update date is shown at the top of this page.
